Vagus nerve stimulation was considered as an effective tool in Mind Body medicine. It has been approved by US FDA to apply on cluster headache and migraine since 2017. New research by NICE in the Great Britain also revealed it was useful in cluster headache; therefore, it was recommended to routinely applied to treating cluster headache in Britain. Stimulating Vagus nerve was found to reduce inflammatory reaction; therefore, it was considered to improve cardiovascular disease and ischemic stroke.
