Elsa would be proud. The fairy-tale castles – carved completely from ice – at the Harbin Ice and Snow World look right out of the Frozen movie.
The ice park spans 810,000 square meters, showcasing the flashiest and most neck-craning sculptures with 250,000 cubic meters of ice harvested from nearby Songhua River. By day, children ride around in sledges and whizz down slides made of ice. By night, the magic steps up a notch when colorful lights transform the park into a veritable winter wonderland.
